This delightful Series Two Jaguar E-Type was first registered in 1970. Little is known of it prior to it being imported but as we stripped it down to a bare shell before carefully building it back up with new and refurbished components, it’s essentially a brand-new car anyway…

As you can see, the car had very little corrosion when it reached us and we decided to maintain its originality by painting it in the same dark blue colour. The 4.2-litre straight-six engine was taken down to a bare block by our engine guru before being rebuilt to the factory specification; while we are happy to fettle and tune our engines to meet your needs, most customers prefer to enjoy them as Brown’s Lane intended.
